Mr. Arul Varma is an officer of the Delhi Higher Judicial Services and presently posted as District Judge. He is a graduate from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University and completed LL.M from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He has presided over a Juvenile Justice Board besides courts in other jurisdictions. A prolific speaker, he has been engaged with myriad issues ranging from juvenile justice to rights of women & children, refugee rights, rights of arrestees, combating drug menace etc. and has addressed a wide range of participants including children, lawyers, prosecutors, police officers, judges and the public at large. He has published articles and written reports on children related matters. Mr. Varma has earlier served as Registrar/ OSD-Supreme Court of India; Secretary- Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee; Presiding Officer- MACT.
